CMEN Presents:
CMEN Code of Conduct
Effective Date: May 28, 2026
Attendance at any CMEN event is conditioned on your agreement to this Code of Conduct. Violations may result in removal from the event without refund, exclusion from future CMEN events, and, in serious cases, referral to law enforcement.
Acknowledgment
Registration for any CMEN event constitutes your acknowledgment of and agreement to this Code of Conduct.
Consent
Affirmative, ongoing, and freely given consent is required for any physical interaction with other attendees, including photography. Silence, intoxication, or absence of objection do not constitute consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Conduct Toward Others
Treat every attendee, staff member, volunteer, and venue employee with respect. Harassment of any form — including verbal harassment, intimidation, unwanted physical contact, discriminatory comments, or stalking — is grounds for immediate removal.
CMEN is committed to a community free from discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, age, body type, HIV status, disability, or any other personal characteristic.
Confidentiality
Attendee identity, attendance, and conduct at CMEN events are confidential community information. Do not publish, post, share, or discuss outside the community any information that could identify another attendee unless given explicit consent.
Photography and Recording
Photography and recording by attendees is prohibited unless specifically authorized by CMEN organizers AND by every individual appearing in any image.
Substance Use
CMEN does not provide alcohol. Where attendees personally bring alcohol for their own consumption in accordance with venue rules, attendees are solely responsible for their consumption and for ensuring their continued capacity to give and receive consent. The use of illegal drugs at CMEN events is prohibited. The sharing of prescription medications is prohibited. Attendees under the visible influence of substances may be asked to leave.
Health and Safety
If you have a communicable illness, please do not attend. Notify registration@cmen.org for refund or transfer options per the Refund Policy. Follow all venue safety rules, posted notices, and staff
instructions. Report any safety concern or incident to a CMEN organizer immediately.
