West Coast Gathering 2024 Social Hour & Evening Themes
Among the highlights of each day at the West Coast Gatherings are the late afternoon social hour parties and evening events.
Just for fun, the social hour parties and evening events have a different theme each day. While nudity is still the overall rule, gathering attendees are encouraged (but not required) to wear accessories that correspond to the theme for the social hour and evening.
Social hour “costumes” can range from a simple cap or hat to the outlandish.
Suggestions for themes for CMEN’s West Coast Gathering 2023 were proposed by past Gathering participants. These suggested themes were reviewed and after months of deliberation the final themes were selected:

CMEN’s Silver Anniversary!
Any silver foxes out there? How about an ensemble right out of Silverlake?! Make an outfit out of some silverware or dress up as a silverback gorilla! Any outfit can have a silver lining, so dress up by the light of your silvery moon!

Mardi Gras
It’s Carnival time, boys! Calling all jesters, harlequins and heck, anyone wearing a peacock feather! Don your beads, masks and skimpy outfits and let’s show New Orleans (and Rio!) how to put on a party! It’s Fat Tuesday and Ass Wednesday is just around the corner so wear anything green, purple or gold! Anyone for King Cake?

Wild West Wednesday
Go West young man! Be a Cowboy tonight… or throw on a gingham table-cloth and voila… you’re a Cowgirl that even Dolly would envy! Be your favorite Spaghetti Western right out of Pioneertown!

Viva Mexico!
Ay Caramba! Time to take a fantasy visit South of the Border. Come naturally native with nothing but a sombrero and a colorful poncho from PUTO Vallarta! Look for a fiesta of hombres guapos! Be a Papi Chulo in a Pancho Villa mustachio or a festive Vaquero hat. Or how about a scantily-clad whore from the back-alleys of Tijuana? Dust off that Lucha Libre wrestling mask. Dios Mio… Que Culito! Feel free to fling on a Frida Kahlo frock or a red, white and green serape, Señor!

Attend a Leather Workshop at the Dungeon throughout the day and enjoy the Mr. CMEN Leather Contest scheduled this evening.

Dress to sparkle and dazzle this afternoon. Everyone’s a Queen so crown your head with a diamond-crusted cock-ring or a pageant tiara. Bring your favorite stiletto — whether it’s a 10-inch thick piece of meat, or 6-inch designer heels. Dress to kill in a glorious evening gown ensemble or a totally silly frock. Brush on some rouge and Work It on the Run-way! The highlight of the evening will be the Miss CMEN Queen contest, hosted by none-other than the sultry, yet saucy: Miss Ida Ho!

Celebrating Green
Unleash your Irish side by donning a leprechaun’s cap! Or will you dress as your favorite TV celebrity Kermit or My Favorite Martian? Do you love fresh green vegetables, like cu-CUM-bers… Be one! Anything green will do: Gumby, the Hulk, the Jolly Green Giant, the Grinch, Puff the Magic Dragon, a Ninja Turtle, Shrek, the Riddler or an alien! How about the Wicked Witch of the West Dedicated to green living? Then go all Eco and wear a Solar Panel or a giant Hemp Leaf.
